I’ve been in Bulgaria for a couple of days now, it has all been fascinating, but tonight I sat in on a meeting of the Bulgarian Bible Project Team… In term of NT Greek this team is as accomplished and as knowledgable as any in the World.. Grammatically Bulgarian is very close to Greek. This meant that last year they produced an inter linear Bible in modern Bulgarian that was able to match the word order of the Textus Receptus and make sense to today’s academic readers. Tonight they where discussing their more colloquial version, still under production.
Anyway I mention this as I now have a new source to check my Greek and Hebrew translations with. I found out the Project manager shares my views on the role of the Aleph-Tav.
