The Jesus Centred Life course gets into the New Testament

The next Jesus Centred Life day in London is Saturday October the 24th, at the Emmanuel Centre, Westminster, for more information on the curriculum and course click here! September’s kick off day seemed to go really well, with at least three people who had come just to try out the course booking in for the whole year based on their experience.

Anyway, Session two in October continues with the same mix addressing the heart, the head and the hand of discipleship, of growth in Jesus and of Christ in you. And this month we kick off a run of four sessions in the Head stream based on the Gospels.

So in October we will take a comparative look at Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, seeing how they work in tension and in harmony to give us a more rounded view of Jesus than we have of any life in the ancient world. We will discover why scholarship is edging back towards a more traditional view of their authorship and development and we will look at how each consistently portrays through a distinct to draw out an aspect of the truth of Jesus.

Then in the  Heart stream we will be holding both a biblical and psychological  mirror up to ourselves as we engage with the Holy Spirit around the things that feed and motivate effective relational behaviour and our tendencies to be easily offended.

And at the end of the day the Hand stream will explore how to develop a more authentic and natural dialogue with God.

You can register for the day, and/or book the whole of the spring and autumn terms below… but if you would like to book for the rest of the year, or bring a group from your church then please contact and we will send you special discounted and/or extra benefit prices.

Look forward to seeing you in October!
